The PCHC can be developed and made fully functional within one month. The objective of this project is to contribute towards the economic growth and development of the country through women empowerment, reduction in poverty, and ensuring good health and well-being. Under this project, the first PCHC was set up by GSM at Village Mohri, Tehsil Gujar Khan – District Rawalpindi.

GSM has dedicated this PCHC to late Dr. Ruth Pfau – a German-born Pakistani Physician and sister of the Society of Daughters of the Heart of Mary. She moved from Germany to Pakistan and devoted more than 50 years of her life to fighting leprosy in the country. Dr. Pfau contributed in establishing 157 leprosy clinics across Pakistan that treated over 56,780 people. She will always remain in the hearts of Pakistanis for her services and will be a beacon of motivation for others to reach the poorest, ailing communities.
