Pakistanis had displayed their anger toward rising prices for the third time in a row. They heavily criticized the Government of Pakistan for its inability to handle the inflation in the country.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leader Chaudry Fawad Hussain stated that the PTI leadership has strongly rejected the recent petroleum price hike.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif blamed the previous PTI government for the recent increase in petrol prices. He added that the government was helpless because of the deal with IMF carried out by the former government.
