Pakistan Cricket Team Captain Babar Azam has encouraging words for Indian batsman Virat Kholi despite his sloppy performance recently. Even though the Indian batsman has been in poor form for a long time now, Babar urges that he should get the support to overcome the slump.
In a tweet, Babar Azam shared a picture of him and Kholi together during the 2021 T20 World Cup saying “This too shall pass. Stay Strong”.

It has to be noted that since 2019, Virat Kholi is unable to score a single century and is therefore criticized for the prolonged lean patch. People have started to raise questions regarding his future and current performance. For this purpose, he is also rested during the West Indies tour, where India will play One Day Internationals and the T20s.
Prior to the opening Test match in Sri Lanka, Pakistani Captain Babar Azam showed support to former Indian Captain saying, “As a player (tough) times can fall on you as well. I know how a player goes through such times and how he comes out of it. So he needs support in those times and as a player, I tweeted to support him”.
Babar Azam further said, “He is one of the best players and he knows how to come out of this. It takes time but we should back him”. On the other hand, ex-Indian Cricketers criticized Kholi for the continuation of his lackluster form.
How did India respond to Babar Azam’s Tweet?
While the Pakistani skipper showed support to his Indian counterpart, Indian players also welcomed his heartwarming gesture. Indian pacer Irfan Pathan also reacted to Babar Azam’s tweet for the support of Virat Kohli.
