One Person Died as a result of Mumbai’s film being set on Fire

Fire erupted during the shooting of a song for an untitled Bollywood movie featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. 1 death was reported as a result of a fire in Chitrakoot Ground where the shooting was taking place.

On the set of Bollywood celebrities Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s most recent movie, a fire broke out. Despite previous rumors that there had been no casualties, the most recent information indicates one death.

According to Indian magazine Pinkvilla, the Mumbai filming location for the untitled movie was preparing to shoot a song on Friday when, in an unexpected turn of events, it caught fire. The shooting had not yet started formally; Ranbir and Shraddha were expected to arrive starting next week.

The Chitrakoot Ground near Sadar Bazaar reportedly had a category 2 fire, according to a report in Mumbai Live. According to reports, the fire started in a 1,000-square-foot area. According to media sources, ten fire engines and two water tanks were dispatched right away to the scene to put out the fire.

It is for the first time that Ranbir and Shraddha are working together. This movie is directed by Luv Ranjan. Everyone is fine, said Boney Kapoor, another actor in the film, in response to the event, according to Bombay Times. By God’s grace, nobody has been hurt. Today’s activities were limited to lighting. Everyone was getting ready for the shoot tomorrow. Tomorrow was the scheduled day for shooting on this set. He claimed that although the cause of the fire is still unknown, he thinks a short circuit might have been to blame.

According to the Hindustan Times, a man who was working on the set was found dead after the fire was put out. Dr. Sadaphule of Cooper Hospital revealed to the media that a 32-year-old man named Manish Devashi was brought in dead. The Mumbai Fire Brigade reports that the fire was reported at 4:30 pm and put out at 10:35 pm.

Ranbir is presently on a shoot for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor. He has also got Brahmastra, his film with his wife Alia Bhatt, coming out soon. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the fantasy drama will also feature Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy in the lead and will be released in the theatres on 9th September.
