Actor Fahad Mustafa is now Sindh Police SP Fahad Mustafa

The actor recently uploaded a photo on Instagram with IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon showing him receiving the honorary title of Superintendent of Police (SP) in the real world.

In his most recent film, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, Mustafa plays the role of Gulab, a police officer. The Jeeto Pakistan host posted on the photo-sharing app that his character SHO Gulab has “achieved his biggest desire.”

Mustafa wrote, “Today, I firmly feel SHO Gulab has realised his wildest dreams. “I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon for bestowing upon me the honorary title of Superintendent of Police (SP) on this Independence Day and realising Gulab’s goals. I’ll never forget how much you all have loved and supported this character and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, and I hope to keep proudly representing my country in the future!”

Fahad Mustafa is appointed as a honorary Sindh police officer

Along with the DIG Headquarters Sindh, DIG Training Sindh, DIG Crime and Investigation Sindh, and AIG Operations Sindh, the director Nabeel Qureshi, writer-producer Fizza Ali Meerza, Kumail Haider Shah, chairman of LCA Sindh, and CPLC Chief Zubair Habib also attended the commemorative ceremony.

The Actor-in-Law star had previously stated, while revealing his role in an interview with The Express Tribune, “I always wanted to do a film that was one of a kind, at least in this region. Films about police haven’t truly been made. If you’ve ever read a police procedural, you may remember that my favourite character was Inspector Jamshed. I wanted to portray a police officer who was like him in some ways.

I had created and worked on one story myself, he had continued. At the same moment, Nabeel approached me and related to me the somewhat comparable Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad narrative. Nabeel and I think similarly, that’s the thing. Possibly as a result, we collaborate frequently. I’ve always believed that while an actor can play many different characters, it’s crucial to comprehend the context. Only if you have a compelling plot to support it can you pull off growing a beard, a moustache, or an accent. Every time I look for a tale, this was it.
