Kim Kardashian tries to eat healthy most of the time, but she does enjoy cheat meals on “treat days.” On Thursday, the 41-year-old reality star wrote on her sister Kourtney’s Poosh lifestyle blog that a plant-based diet, especially her vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free tacos, has helped her keep her psoriasis under control.

“I eat them at least once a week,” Kardashian said. She has been open about her struggle with the skin condition, which can cause red and scaly patches on the skin, on social media and on Keeping Up with the Kardashians for a long time. She also said that when she goes to a restaurant that doesn’t have a strictly vegan or plant-based menu, she still tries to stick to her diet based on what’s available.

She said Thursday, “I just try to eat as many plants as possible unless it’s a treat day.” Definitely,” she said, “pizza is her go-to cheat meal. “I love doughnuts when I’m in the mood for something sweet.” The founder of SKIMS also said that sea-moss smoothies are a good way to treat psoriasis “because they’re very anti-inflammatory.”

“I try to eat as many foods that fight inflammation and have antioxidants as I can,” she said. Kardashian’s skin condition and other parts of her life have both improved thanks to her focus on a plant-based diet. “It’s made me more aware of how what I put in my body affects me, not just my psoriasis, but also my mood, my stress levels, my energy, and everything else,” she said.
