Actor Nora Fatehi Questioned In 200 Crore Extortion Case

The Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Delhi Police for about four hours on Friday about an extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently in jail. The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police talked to Ms. Fatehi about what she knew. Sukesh Chandasekhar and Ms. Fatehi were both questioned by the Enforcement Directorate about money laundering at the same time. This question is also on the ED’s list of charges in the extortion case’s money trail.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s case has given many Bollywood actresses gifts and other things. We are looking into the situation. So, Nora Fatehi was called in to answer some questions about this. After the investigation, it will be clear whether she is a suspect or a witness. Two or three more names of Bollywood actresses have been mentioned. Ravindra Singh Yadav, who is the Special Commissioner of Police for Crime at the Delhi Police, told NDTV, “We will also question Jacqueline Fernandez.”

When asked by the investigation agency, Ms. Fatehi said she hadn’t talked to the con artist before December 12, 2020, but Sukesh said he had talked to her two weeks earlier after an event.

Sukesh is said to have given her a luxury BMW as a gift. Ms. Fatehi says she said “ok” when Sukesh first offered her the car, but later said she didn’t need it. “So I told Bobby about it, and Bobby told me that he had already talked to Sukesh about it. If Bobby gets this chance, I told him to take the car. The Bollywood actor’s family knows Bobby Khan. The con artist said that he gave the car to Ms. Fatehi himself and that the family friend had nothing to do with it.

The investigation agency also asked if they gave each other expensive gifts like luxury bags. Ms. Fatehi said it didn’t happen, even though she said she was given a Gucci bag and an iPhone 12 in public at an event where she was the most important person there.

On the other hand, Sukesh Chandrashekhar said that he had given the Bollywood actress four bags that she had chosen herself, as well as some money. He said that Ms. Fatehi’s staff picked up the bags at a mall in Mumbai.

Aditi Singh and Shivender Singh, who used to run a big pharmaceutical company called Ranbaxy, say that Sukesh Chandrashekhar forced them to pay him about Rs 215 crores.  In the 200 crore extortion case, a Delhi court sent Sukesh Chandrasekhar and his wife, Leena Maria Paul, to the ED for three days. They were caught under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) because they were running an extortion ring from a Delhi jail.

Nora Fatehi had already said that Leena Maria Paul had called her and put the phone on speaker. Sukesh thanked her and told her that they were fans of hers. She then told him that they would give her a brand-new BMW as a sign of their love and kindness.

Under section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, Ms. Fatehi’s statements were recorded twice in 2021. She said that she got a booking for a charity event and that Sukesh’s wife gave her a Gucci bag and an iPhone at the event.
