In the last 24 hours, 67 more people in the federal capital city got dengue fever, which is spread by mosquitoes. The District Health Officer for Islamabad said that 35 cases were found in urban areas and 32 cases were found in rural areas of the capital territory.
The DHO said that in the last 24 hours, 18 people with dengue fever were taken to PIMS hospital, 4 to CDA hospital, 4 to FG hospital, and 3 to Polyclinic.

District health officials said this season, 3 people with dengue fever have died, and 613 people with the disease have been taken to hospitals. He also said that out of the 613 cases of dengue, 388 were in rural areas and 225 were in cities.
