On Monday, Pakistan will honour the late Queen Elizabeth II by observing a day of mourning in response to her passing. According to a press release issued by the PM Office media wing on Saturday, following the advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given his consent for the nation of Pakistan to observe a day of mourning on September 12 in commemoration of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
To express solidarity with the government & people of the United Kingdom on the sad demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Pakistan will observe a national day of mourning on 12 Sept. 2022. During the day, Pakistan’s flag will be lowered to half-mast throughout the country.

The news of this approval was announced in the press release. It has been requested that the Cabinet Division take the appropriate actions in this regard.
