Pakola was founded in 1947 in Pakistan by seven brothers from the Teli family, originally from Dhoraji in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Pakola’s originator, Haji Ali Mohammad, wanted to create a beverage that accurately depicts Pakistani culture and cuisine.
This ambition inspired him to come up with the idea for Pakola. Haji Ali Mohammad produced the first product when he launched his modest business on Lawrence Road in Karachi.
The factory only had two machines at the time. He did this so that he could pursue his passion

On the 14th of August 1950, the day that marked the first anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, introduced the beverage was at Pakistan Air Force Base in the presence of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan.
