India has gained an advantage in the ranking due to the defeat of England in the fourth T20I match by Pakistan yesterday. India won the 3 T20I series against Australia 1-2 yesterday, consolidating their position at number one in the ICCT20 rankings.
On the other hand, losing by three runs to England in the fourth match of the T20 series against Pakistan on Sunday has also benefited India.
In the T20 rankings, India is at the first position with 268 points, while England is at the second position with 261 points after losing to Pakistan. Thus, the gap between the first and second-placed teams based on issues has increased.
According to the T20 ranking, South Africa is in the third position, and Pakistan is fourth. Both teams have 258 points. If Pakistan beats England 4-3 or 5-2 in the series, England’s position may be in jeopardy.
