Standard Chartered introduces Sahar Women’s Account, Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited (SCBPL) has made significant progress towards financial inclusion and the empowerment of women. This ground-breaking service is intended to meet the changing needs of the Bank’s female clients and give them economic freedom, digital accessibility, and financial security.
In addition to not requiring an initial deposit or a minimum amount, the SC Sahar Women’s Account also provides free debit card and chequebook issuance, free account statements and bank certificates, and 24/7 digital banking. A corporate card for business owners, fee waivers on home finance processing fees, and specialised advising services on investment and insurance goods are all included with the account, which is also available through Islamic banking.
By offering a variety of perks and opportunities, we intend to motivate women to handle their own finances through regulated banking channels, said Saadya Riaz, Head of Consumer, Private and Business Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. Account holders can also access video lectures for financial literacy and banking products, and female employees known as Sahar Champions have been deployed at client touchpoints to give the greatest customer experience.
