Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) hosted a panel discussion with the theme “Quality Education Should Not Be a Privilege” to showcase the joint efforts of TikTok, Edkasa, and LUMS to assist millions of people in Pakistan. The occasion highlighted the effective #ExamReady initiative, raising educational standards across the nation.
Panellists from TikTok, Edkasa, and LUMS talked about the special collaboration and how it has helped Pakistani students receive high-quality education. Vice Chancellor of LUMS Dr. Arshad Ahmad emphasised the enthusiasm and daring actions made to guarantee educational excellence through platform learning.
The #ExamReady campaign’s inspiration was discussed by Zara Basharat Higgs of TikTok, and the LUMS School of Education’s dean, Dr. Faisal Bari, emphasised the university’s commitment to reshaping education through online channels.
Annum Sadiq from Edkasa emphasised the enhanced engagement and learning through short video formats, while Dr. Yasira Waqar from LUMS discussed the meticulous procedure used in generating educational videos.
The panellists also talked about how these campaigns enhance teaching strategies and results, which benefits young people’s skill development. They were informed of the accomplishments of the #ExamReady campaign, including the awarding of more than 20,000 scholarships and the 550 million TikTok views of the more than 500 educational videos. The effort, which focused on removing obstacles, encouraging gender inclusion, and lowering access fees, reached 140 districts.
