Emirates and Air Canada have announced the expansion of their codeshare partnership to include flights to Montréal. The largest city in Québec began receiving services in July. Travelers can now conveniently schedule trips with a single ticket between 11 domestic points outside of Montréal and several Emirates network destinations.
The Emirates-Air Canada codeshare cooperation now includes 11 destinations via Montréal and an additional 69 accessible through an interline agreement, expanding the Canadian network.
Tickets are offered through selected travel agencies and emirates.com, giving passengers flexibility and choice for easy connections across Canada’s biggest cities.
Travelers from Toronto can access 19 sites with codeshare benefits that are extended by 100 thanks to an interline arrangement. Thanks to the airline’s base in Dubai, Canadian passengers can conveniently connect to Emirates’ international destinations via Montréal or Toronto.
Emirates offers daily A380 service between Toronto and Dubai in addition to seven Boeing 777 flights per week from Montréal to Dubai. Single-ticket itineraries for Emirates passengers include baggage allowances and hassle-free check-through.
Due to this partnership, Emirates Skywards members can accrue and use miles on flights operated by both airlines.
*Baggage check-through is acceptable for international travel. At the first port of entry (Toronto or Montréal), international passengers flying to destinations in Canada must clear their luggage with Canadian Customs.
