Emojis may now be used in Google Maps to help you recall your favorite places. You may use this function to give your stored locations on the app a little bit of individuality and instant identification. You can quickly connect emojis with various locations, whether they are your house, the gym, or a gaming area.
Simply go to the Saved tab and create or edit a list to use this feature. From there, you can add a variety of emojis to your bookmarked locations to give them more personality and make them simpler to recognize. You could, for instance, use a house emoji to represent your house, a muscle emoji to represent the gym, or a controller emoji to represent your preferred gaming location.
This functionality does not allow you to add emojis to Google’s default lists, such as “Want to go” or “Favorites.” You must make your own unique lists from scratch in order to benefit from customized emojis. To further personalize your experience, you may even give these custom lists names and descriptions.

Emojis give a more expressive and meaningful method to indicate your whereabouts than traditional map pins, which lack individuality. Emojis of your favorite locations will appear as you zoom out on Google Maps. This enhances the map’s aesthetic appeal while also streamlining your search procedure and saving you time by eliminating the need to tap on each location to identify it.
