A well-known Pakistani telecoms firm, Ufone 4G, is stepping up to offer crucial assistance in the wake of a recent earthquake in Morocco. Significant numbers of people have been displaced in North Africa as a result of the disaster, including a considerable Pakistani diaspora population.
Ufone 4G is starting an initiative as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program to help people connect with their loved ones who were impacted by this awful tragedy. Ufone 4G is launching a 7-day call package that includes a large amount of 30 minutes of free International Direct Dialing (IDD) calls to Morocco in recognition of the distress faced by the Pakistani diaspora and their families during such trying times. People only need to dial *2255# to take advantage of this package. The offer is still available for the entire month, giving people who are affected and their families plenty of time to get in touch and find solace in hearing one another’s voices.
