To make payments more convenient for Khushhali Bank clients across Pakistan, Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL) and HBL Konnect have teamed together. By collaborating with digital payment service providers like JazzCash, EasyPaisa, OmniPay, and now HBL Konnect, KMBL, which has a sizable rural customer base, is updating its infrastructure.
Over 3 million customers, including 1 million borrowers, are served by KMBL’s 215 branches, which are dispersed throughout the nation. In order to provide smooth financial services, the bank is committed to digitizing its processes. Chief Business Officer of KMBL Aftab Alam stressed the significance of lowering branch foot traffic and improving digital solutions for more openness and accessibility.
This idea was mirrored by Hammad Haider, Head of Operations & Chief Digital Officer of KMBL, who also emphasized the importance of incorporating digital tools to expedite banking processes.
HBL’s National Sales Head, Agha Israr Ahmed, views this alliance as a significant business prospect. In order to ultimately serve underserved customers across the nation while expanding the urban customer base, it may expand into areas like digitalized loan disbursements.
