In preparation for the eagerly awaited World Cup in India in 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Team set out on their tour. The national team will fly out of Lahore early on Wednesday to make their imprint on the world cricket scene.
Before their anticipated arrival in Hyderabad, India, today, the squad will stop for a brief layover in Dubai. There, they will begin their preparations with a warm-up game. The team, which consists of 18 players, is supported by a hardworking staff of 13 people. During their layover in Dubai, bowling coach Morne Morkel will also be with the group.
Notably, Mickey Arthur, the team director, will travel to India to train with the Babar Azam-captained team ahead of the huge competition.
With a training session scheduled for the next day, the calendar is already jam-packed. On September 29, the Men in Green will play their first exhibition game against New Zealand.
Babar Azam contacted followers on his social media accounts before they left, humbly begging their prayers and support for the Pakistan cricket team as they set out on their journey to the 2023 World Cup.
Babar Azam posted on his Twitter account, “As we prepare for the World Cup, we seek the prayers of all the Pakistan cricket team supporters and well-wishers.” As we strive to flourish and proudly represent our nation on the world cricket stage, your support means the world to us.
As we head for the World Cup, we seek prayers of all the Pakistan cricket team fans and well-wishers. I am certain that you will continue to extend your support and love, which you have always done.
