Apple is actively working on a fix for the overheating problems experienced by customers of the iPhone 15 Pro series and has acknowledged those issues.
“We’ve found a few circumstances under which iPhone may operate hotter than normal. Due to increased background activity, the iPhone may feel warmer in the first few days after configuring or restoring it, according to an Apple spokesman.
Additionally, a flaw in iOS 17 that affects select users has been found and will be fixed in the upcoming software update. Along with working with third-party software developers, Apple is addressing recent updates that are clogging up systems.
According to some observers, the new titanium frames’ increased heat conductivity compared to stainless steel and the compromises made in the thermal design of the new Pro models may be to blame for the overheating and throttling problems.
We’ll keep an eye on the overheating issue with the iPhone 15 Pro series and update you as needed.
