Saqib Zeeshan Appointed New CEO of Pak-Qatar General Takaful

Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited (PQGTL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Saqib Zeeshan as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Mr. Zeeshan, with over 20 years of experience in the Takaful, Insurance, and Health Services sectors, is set to bring his extensive expertise to PQGTL. His successful track record in driving growth and innovation makes him the ideal leader for the company.

Mr. Kamran Saleem, Director of PQGTL, expressed confidence in Mr. Zeeshan’s ability to lead the company towards continued success, emphasizing his deep industry knowledge and commitment to Islamic values. He also extended gratitude to the former CEO, Mr. Zahid Hussain Awan, for his significant contributions in establishing a strong foundation for the company.

Mr. Zeeshan, a founding member of Pak-Qatar Family Takaful in 2007, has held senior positions at notable organizations such as Salaam Takaful and The Indus Health Network. His distinguished career includes roles at American Life Insurance, Commercial Union Life Assurance Pakistan, and Allianz EFU Health Insurance Limited. Additionally, he has served on the Executive Committee of The Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP). Mr. Zeeshan holds an MBA, an MA in Economics, an LLB, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Takaful & Islamic Banking from Darul Uloom, Karachi.

Mr. Zeeshan expressed his honor at being appointed CEO and his commitment to enhancing customer experiences and driving PQGTL to greater heights with innovative and Shariah-compliant solutions.
