TikTok’s commitment to safety and transparency is evident in their latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. Highlighting proactive measures taken in Q1 2024, the report showcases the platform’s dedication to fostering a secure and inclusive online environment.

Over 166 million videos were removed globally for violating guidelines, with nearly 94% identified and addressed within 24 hours. This impressive removal rate reflects the platform’s investment in automated detection technology alongside human oversight.

For the first time, TikTok disclosed comment moderation efforts, revealing the removal and filtering of nearly 1 billion comments during the quarter. This transparency builds trust with users and reinforces their commitment to a safe space.

In Pakistan specifically, over 20 million videos were flagged for violations, demonstrating TikTok’s dedication to enforcing guidelines consistently for all users worldwide. Additionally, over 21 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under 13 were removed, emphasizing their focus on youth safety.
