Arshad Nadeem, a javelin thrower, has joined PTCL Group, Pakistan’s top provider of ICT and telecom services, as a brand ambassador. Through this collaboration, we hope to honor Nadeem’s path and encourage young people to strive for sporting success.
Nadeem, a national hero, excelled in national and international javelin throw events, accomplishing amazing accomplishments. With his fifth-place performance, he became the first track and field athlete from Pakistan to qualify for the 2021 Olympics. He also won gold in the Islamic Solidarity Games (2021) and the Commonwealth Games (2022), and he finished second in the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
The PTCL Group campaign demonstrates Nadeem’s perseverance in overcoming obstacles and succeeding in spite of scarce resources. The program seeks to encourage young people and highlight skill in sports other than cricket.
