Sammer Sultan: Pakistan's First Woman Champion of Change

As the first female member of the Champions of Change Coalition, an esteemed global network of C-suite executives, Sammer Sultan, co-chair of Shan Foods, has achieved a historic milestone. The objectives of this Sydney-based organization are to improve the lives of underprivileged people and to encourage constructive change in the business sector.

Sultan is an ardent supporter of inclusivity and gender equality. Her work at Shan Foods has centered on empowering women via environmental, healthcare, and educational programs. Her dedication to social responsibility has made her one of the most influential change-makers in the world.

Enrolling in the Champions of Change Coalition is a noteworthy achievement for women from Pakistan who are employed. Sultan wants to make a more welcoming business environment in Pakistan by using her position to encourage and assist other female CEOs.

The Coalition—previously called the Male Champions of Change—offers a forum for members to talk about and tackle important problems impacting underrepresented groups. Sultan’s participation marks a turning point in Pakistani women’s employment inclusion.
