REAP and TDAP Celebrate USD 4 Billion Rice Export Milestone

Recently, rice exports of USD 4 billion marked a significant milestone for the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) and The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). “FOUR-The Quadra Legacy,” a sustainable event held at the historic Mohatta Palace, was held to commemorate the achievement. Pakistan’s success in the rice sector and its dedication to environmental stewardship were emphasized by the occasion.

Through music and performances, the event highlighted renewable energy, zero waste projects, and the richness of Pakistan’s cultural heritage. With an emphasis on recycling, reusing, and planting trees, it also underlined the significance of sustainability.

Chela Ram Kewlani, the chairman of REAP, expressed gratitude for the sector’s accomplishments and dedication to sustainability. The victory was credited to the rice export industry’s hard work and dedication by Ali Hussam Asghar, who is also the Chairman of REAP.

With a special emphasis on environmental effect, IPG GROUP PAKISTAN and KEARO DESIGN STUDIO arranged the event. In an effort to reduce the carbon footprint of the event, the event management team promised to assist a mangrove planting initiative.
