Zindigi and PostEx have partnered to revolutionize e-commerce in Pakistan by digitizing cash-on-delivery (COD) payments. This groundbreaking initiative, powered by RAAST, introduces a dynamic QR code system that allows delivery riders to easily collect payments using their PostEx app and any mobile banking app.
With COD accounting for 90% of e-commerce transactions in Pakistan, this move addresses the inefficiencies and risks associated with cash-based payments. By digitizing COD, the partnership aims to enhance convenience for customers, reduce operational burdens for merchants and logistics providers, and foster trust in digital payments.
This pilot project, launched across six major cities, will introduce two key innovations:
- Wallet Integration: Seamlessly integrating digital wallets for faster and more secure transactions.
- Dynamic QR (Digitized COD): Transforming COD payments through the use of dynamic QR codes generated by delivery riders.
