Zong 4G Joins Hands with MoRA to Keep 91,000 Pakistani Pilgrims Connected During Hajj 2025

Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading digital telecom brand, has announced its strategic partnership with the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) for Hajj 2025, aiming to keep over 91,000 Pakistani pilgrims connected throughout their spiritual journey to Makkah. This initiative includes the distribution of free SIMs and international roaming services, ensuring seamless communication during one of the most important events in a pilgrim’s life.

Understanding that thousands of Pakistanis perform Hajj privately each year, Zong 4G has extended its services to all pilgrims regardless of travel arrangements. With a focus on enhancing the pilgrimage experience, the telecom giant has rolled out an all-inclusive Hajj 2025 package. It includes 240 international minutes, 60 SMS, 2GB of WhatsApp-specific data, and 10GB of general-purpose data—allowing pilgrims to stay in touch with family and access important information with ease.

To further support its users, Zong is introducing real-time in-app location tracking, a 24/7 dedicated helpline, and on-ground assistance through kiosks in key areas of Saudi Arabia. These features are designed to provide immediate help, ensuring a stress-free experience for the pilgrims.

Khurram Ishaq, Director LDI & International Business at Zong 4G, expressed pride in the initiative, stating, “It’s a privilege to serve the Hajj pilgrims of Pakistan on their sacred journey. At Zong 4G, we see this initiative not just as a service, but as our civic duty—to ensure every pilgrim stays connected with their loved ones and receives the support they need, no matter where they are.”

Zong 4G continues to demonstrate its commitment to national service through innovation and meaningful partnerships. With this initiative, the company reinforces its role as a digital enabler, helping Pakistani pilgrims experience a worry-free and spiritually fulfilling Hajj in 2025.
