Zong Teams Up with NOWPDP to Champion Disability Inclusion in the Workplace

Zong 4G has taken a commendable step toward promoting a more inclusive and empathetic workplace by hosting an impactful awareness session in partnership with NOWPDP (Network of Organizations Working with People with Disabilities). The session, held at Zong’s Islamabad headquarters, aimed to raise awareness about the real-life challenges faced by persons with disabilities (PwDs) and emphasized the importance of accessibility, empathy, and allyship within corporate culture.

Through immersive simulations and candid conversations, Zong employees were given the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the barriers—both visible and invisible—that PwDs navigate daily. From physical accessibility issues to social stigma and emotional challenges, the session encouraged participants to reflect deeply on how organizations can actively break down these obstacles through inclusive practices and mindset shifts.
