At ITW 2025, Zong held strategic meetings with key global telecom players including Oman Tel, Orange Business, CMC Networks, China Mobile International, Etisalat, China Unicom, iBasis, DU, KDDI, Telecom Italia Sparkle, and more. These discussions aimed to deepen collaboration across international voice, roaming, A2P SMS, ICT services, and wholesale telecom business. Zong emphasized its role in expanding Pakistan’s digital footprint through future-ready solutions and collaborative innovation.
One of the key focus areas was enhancing connectivity for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims. Zong introduced exclusive partnerships with GCC-based telecom operators, positioning itself as the dedicated network provider for Hajj 2025. Pilgrims will benefit from specialized international roaming and IDD bundles, ensuring seamless communication during their sacred journey.
Zong also spotlighted Pakistan’s resilient telecom infrastructure, including its advanced nationwide network and international connectivity corridors linking into Afghanistan and China via terrestrial routes. The company showcased its robust ICT offerings such as IPLC, IEPL, IP Transit, VPN/GMPLS, and other enterprise-grade services delivered over high-capacity media networks.
In a bid to boost its A2P SMS business, Zong also initiated talks with global OTT platforms and SMS aggregators. These discussions aimed to enhance delivery efficiency, tailor services to partner needs, and drive sustainable growth in the fast-evolving messaging landscape.
