At a formal signing ceremony held in Islamabad, senior leadership from PTCL, Ufone 4G, DWP, and Dell Technologies came together to highlight the collaboration. PTCL’s upgraded infrastructure will now feature a three-site active-active metro architecture, which enhances system availability and ensures business continuity even during localized disruptions. The transformation also includes advanced enterprise replication services (SRDF) and supports existing mission-critical platforms across all three sites.
The modernization brings more than just performance gains — it significantly reduces PTCL’s data center footprint, power, and cooling needs, translating into major energy efficiency and cost savings. These improvements not only streamline day-to-day operations but also support the company’s long-term sustainability goals.
