Pakistani Teen to Compete in Global AI Olympiad with 'Made in Pakistan' Tech by Viper

Pakistan is once again on the global tech map as Muhammad Ayan Abdullah, a young Pakistani student, has been selected to represent the country at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) set to take place in Beijing, China from August 2 to 9, 2025.

In a proud show of local industry support, Viper Technology, Pakistan’s leading IT hardware manufacturer, has stepped forward to fully back Ayan’s participation. In partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Viper has provided its latest PLUTO AI PC, a high-performance, locally assembled computer engineered for AI and machine learning workloads.

This move marks a significant milestone in Viper Technology’s mission to empower Pakistani youth with homegrown innovation and elevate the “Made in Pakistan” brand to international platforms. The PLUTO AI PC is part of Viper’s newly launched AI-focused hardware series — designed, assembled, and optimized in Pakistan for advanced computing tasks.

Speaking on the announcement, Faisal Sheikh, Co-Founder & COO of Viper Technology, said: “We are honored to support Muhammad Ayan Abdullah. Pakistan has immense talent, and it’s our responsibility to back the next generation of tech leaders.”

This collaboration exemplifies a powerful synergy between Pakistan’s private sector, government institutions, and youth potential. It is also a testament to how local innovation, when supported properly, can compete and shine on the world stage.

With a legacy spanning over three decades, Viper Group has played a foundational role in developing Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. From desktops and laptops to AI PCs and tablets, Viper continues to deliver accessible tech solutions and training via Viper Academy, helping young Pakistanis build futures in software, hardware, and automation.

The support of PITB has been pivotal in making this international representation possible. It not only fuels young ambition but also strengthens national confidence in Pakistani-built technology — proving that global-caliber innovation can come from right here at home.

As Ayan prepares to compete among the world’s best in AI, Pakistan watches with pride — powered by a new generation of innovators and tech made on local soil.
