Khushhali Microfinance Bank has taken a major step toward empowering women across Pakistan by signing the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code), a strategic initiative led by the State Bank of Pakistan in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The WE Finance Code serves as a benchmark for financial institutions in Pakistan, guiding them to develop services that are tailored for women — from secure loan options to personalized advisory support. By joining the code, Khushhali Bank is helping close the gender gap in the country’s financial ecosystem, enabling more women to take control of their financial futures.
The agreement was signed by Aameer Karachiwalla, President and CEO of KMBL, who emphasized the importance of inclusive banking in achieving economic growth. “We firmly believe that a women-friendly financial network is the best way to drive the country towards economic prosperity,” he shared. “Across both rural and urban areas, we are committed to ensuring our women clients are well-supported in managing and growing their finances.”
