Spotify has just raised the bar for music streaming in Pakistan with the beta launch of its brand-new custom mixes and seamless transitions feature for Premium users. Starting today, Pakistani music lovers with a Premium subscription can experiment with DJ-style controls directly in the Spotify app, making their playlists more personal, dynamic, and shareable than ever.
With just a tap on the “Mix” button, users can choose between instant Auto blending or dive deeper into customization. The feature includes tempo-aware transitions, fade and rise effects, volume and EQ curves, and even waveform and beat data to help craft the smoothest handoff between tracks. To make things more exciting, Spotify also shows the BPM (beats per minute) and key of each track, letting fans sequence songs like pro DJs.
Once finalized, these mixed playlists can be saved, played, and even shared with friends who are also Premium members. Mixing can be turned on or off anytime, and collaborative playlist editing makes the experience more social and fun.
Designed for both casual listeners and seasoned playlist curators, Spotify’s latest upgrade empowers users to control how their music flows and to express themselves creatively through unique mixes. The rollout is part of a global launch, with Pakistan being among the first countries to experience this innovative feature.
