Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, has joined hands with TPL Life, a digital insurance provider, to deliver critical healthcare services to flood-affected communities across Punjab. The initiative set up free medical camps in Pakpattan, Sialkot, and Minchinabad (Bahawalnagar), where access to healthcare had been severely disrupted due to the recent floods.
The day-long camps offered comprehensive medical support, including free check-ups, consultations, essential medicines, and tetanus vaccinations. More than 300 patients were treated across all locations, reflecting both the urgent healthcare needs of flood-hit communities and the effectiveness of the outreach.
Speaking on the occasion, Atta Ur Rehman, Chief Business Officer at Mobilink Bank, emphasized that restoring access to healthcare in disaster-struck areas was vital and reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to standing by its rural and suburban customers in times of crisis. Saad Nissar, CEO of TPL Life Insurance, highlighted that the initiative demonstrated the powerful impact of partnerships when institutions come together for a greater cause.
Mobilink Bank’s operational outreach, combined with TPL Life’s medical expertise, ensured that the healthcare services were delivered quickly and effectively. The collaboration stands as a strong example of how strategic partnerships can drive social impact and reflects Mobilink Bank’s role as a responsible financial institution dedicated to people-first initiatives.
