TikTok has released its Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a safe and positive digital environment for its users in Pakistan and worldwide.
Between April and June 2025, TikTok removed a staggering 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan for violating its Community Guidelines. Impressively, 99.7% of these videos were proactively removed, and 96.2% were taken down within 24 hours, reflecting TikTok’s strong enforcement and monitoring systems.
Globally, the platform removed more than 189 million videos—roughly 0.7% of all uploads—during the same period. Out of these, over 163 million videos were detected through automated systems, while 7.4 million were reinstated after review. TikTok’s proactive removal rate stood at 99.1%, with 94.4% of flagged videos removed within a day of posting.
To strengthen content integrity, TikTok also removed over 76.9 million fake accounts and 25.9 million suspected underage accounts, showcasing its zero-tolerance stance toward policy breaches.
The report further reveals that 30.6% of globally removed videos contained sensitive or mature content, 14% violated safety and civility standards, and 6.1% breached privacy and security policies. Notably, 45% of the taken-down videos were flagged as misinformation, while 23.8% were identified as AI-generated or edited media.
Through the regular publication of its Community Guidelines Enforcement Reports, TikTok continues to emphasize transparency, accountability, and user safety.
