Since 2022, Google’s upskilling efforts have served as a critical engine for Pakistan’s digital transformation. By introducing an additional 150,000 scholarships this year, Google is supercharging its impact—bringing its total distribution to 350,000 Google Career Certificates nationwide. This initiative is actively bridging the digital divide, allowing students, freelancers, and entrepreneurs from every corner of the country to secure globally recognized credentials in high-demand fields like AI, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and more.
This milestone is made possible through deep-rooted collaboration with local partners including TechValley, the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), and the Higher Education Department (HED) among others. Elevating the nationwide push for digital skilling, the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT) has officially mandated the completion of two Google Career Certificate courses for every ministry official—ensuring the government workforce is equipped with AI skills to lead Pakistan’s digital future.

As the founder of Metal Bling, she has not only scaled her creative venture but is also mentoring aspiring creators, helping them turn their artistic abilities into income-generating opportunities through digital platforms.
Leena Kumari
