Standing room tickets for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 match between India and Pakistan at the MCG will go on sale on Thursday. Over 4,000 standing room tickets and a limited number of additional seating allocations will be available beginning tomorrow (August 25) at 07H00 Pakistan time/07H30 IST/12h00 AEST on t20worldcup.com.
Standing room tickets will be $30 and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans are encouraged to set up their T20 World Cup ticketing accounts early because more tickets are likely to be in high demand.
The ticket distribution ensures that as many supporters as possible can attend the match on Sunday, October 23. General admission tickets previously sold out within five minutes after going on sale in February. Through the ICC Hospitality and ICC Travel & Tours programs, you can still buy a small number of packages.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will also establish an official re-sale portal closer to the event’s opening match on Sunday, October 16. Fans are advised to only purchase tickets through the official ticketing site, t20worldcup.com. Purchasing tickets through unauthorised sources cannot be guaranteed.
Fans who miss out on tickets may still see the world’s finest cricketers at other T20 World Cup events, with kids’ tickets starting at $5 and adult tickets starting at $20.
Tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final, which will also take place at the MCG on November 13, are still available.
Fans are urged to visit the FAQ section of the event for further information on ticket inquiries.
