One of Pakistan’s top FMCG companies, English Biscuit Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd. (EBM), won the prestigious Pakistan Effie Awards 2023. Eight trophies in various categories were given to EBM in recognition of their excellent performance, enhancing the company’s position as a marketing thought leader.
With three fresh product innovation campaigns, the winning streak got going. Peek Freans Sooper Soft Bakes and Peek Freans RIO’s Double Chocolate won the Bronze and Silver awards, respectively, while Peek Freans Gluco Teddy took home the Gold title.
EBM’s dedication to long-term achievement was recognised with a Bronze trophy for Peek Freans Sooper. The Gluco Kahani platform launch, which provided interesting Urdu content for Pakistani kids, also won two Silver and Bronze awards.
The inclusive sociocultural narratives of EBM also received praise. Young girls were taught about their fundamental human rights as part of the “Reading the Rights” campaign, while “Kaisi Ho Maa” pushed people to have compassion for mothers. These programmes helped EBM earn its well-deserved acclaim.
