The newly elected Chairman of Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN), Mr. Kabeer Naqvi, has been declared. Mr. Naqvi will guide PMN in its aim to support financial and social inclusion as well as economic development for Pakistan’s neglected population. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in these areas.
Since taking over as President & CEO of U Microfinance Bank (U Bank) in 2015, Mr. Naqvi has been a key contributor to the bank’s impressive recovery and growth. He stands for a new breed of bankers who value innovation, forward-thinking, and a dedication to helping the nation.
Mr. Naqvi has almost two decades of expertise in the microfinance sector and has a strong commitment to enabling the economy, reducing poverty, and fostering sustainable growth. He is the perfect candidate to further PMN’s objective due to his strategic leadership, vision, and track record.
Mr. Naqvi will be in charge of developing new areas of interest, supervising initiatives, encouraging cooperation among member organisations, and increasing access to financial services for the unbanked and underprivileged sections of society in his capacity as Chairman of PMN.
