Over 17,000 Pakistanis Named

The investigation by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) identified nearly 17,000 Pakistanis owning property in Dubai. The estimated total value of these properties is a staggering $11 billion.

Leaked Data Offers Details

The leaked data offers a window into Dubai’s real estate market, specifically ownership information for hundreds of thousands of properties from 2020-2022.

Politicians, Military Officials Among Those Named

The leaks include names of notable figures like politicians Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari. Former and current military officials like Pervez Musharraf (deceased) and Qamar Javed Bajwa’s son are also named. Businessmen, bureaucrats and celebrities are included in the leaks as well.

Some Named Individuals Claim Proper Declaration

Several individuals named in the leaks have clarified their stance. Politicians like Sher Afzal Marwat and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi claim to have declared their properties with Pakistani authorities.
