JazzCash’s digital financial solutions are helping Pakistan’s MSME sector, which is essential for the country’s economic progress. With more than 3 million MSMEs, transaction digitization is crucial.
“Digital services are essential for financial inclusion among MSMEs in rural and semi-urban areas,” stated Aamir Aftab, the Chief Product Officer of JazzCash. “By digitizing payments and supply chain financing, we can build a cashless ecosystem that improves livelihoods.”
Aftab talked about how JazzCash is giving MSMEs access to “end-to-end Digital Supply Chain Finance (DSCF) Solutions” at the DigiBap Summit 2024. Saleem Ullah, the deputy governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, stressed the use of technology in supply chain finance digitization.
The extensive network of JazzCash, which consists of 245,000 agents and 300,000 payment locations, makes it easier for MSMEs to get finance. “The platform processes over 100,000 loans daily,” Aamir stated, “providing a vital tool for these businesses.”
JazzCash, the biggest fintech startup in Pakistan, uses digital services and QR payments to benefit MSMEs, particularly home-based enterprises owned by women. The adoption of DSCF may be accelerated even further by government incentives for digital payments.
