Pakistan has taken a significant step towards improving connectivity in Balochistan. National Roaming Services (voice and SMS) have been launched on the Makran Coastal Highway. This is a joint initiative by the Ministry of IT and Telecom, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Universal Service Fund (USF), Jazz, and Ufone.
The launch, which took place on Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, aims to bridge the digital divide in the region. By providing telecommunication services in areas with limited coverage, the government is enhancing accessibility and improving the lives of residents along the Makran Coastal Highway.
This development is not just a technical upgrade but a commitment to the people of Balochistan. The government is dedicated to bringing essential services to all citizens, and this initiative is a prime example of that commitment.
