JS Bank Empowers Differently-Abled with Wheelchair Donation

In observance of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, JS Bank made a noteworthy donation to the community. The bank donated electric wheelchairs to people with disabilities in collaboration with the Association of Physically Disabled Adults (APHA). The purpose of this project is to increase their freedom and movement.

APHA is a well-known organization that has been serving the community for fifty years, focusing on the welfare of individuals with physical disabilities. For individuals in need, its school for exceptional children, vocational training programs, and rehabilitation facility are essential services.

Attending the APHA-organized event were Jamil Memon, Head of CSR and Administration of JS Bank, and Kazim Raza, Head of Distribution and Branch Banking. The State Bank of Pakistan’s Executive Director, Sohail Jawad, also graced the ceremony.

Jamil Memon underlined JS Bank’s dedication to social concerns and its goal of improving society. The bank has a proven track record of helping marginalized groups, such as the disabled community.

The donation of wheelchairs demonstrates JS Bank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. Through enabling people with impairments, the bank is making society more accessible and inclusive.
