Zindigi Partners with Punjab Government to Digitize Waste Management

A significant step towards digitalizing waste management in Punjab was taken today with the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Zindigi- Powered by JS Bank and local waste management companies. The partnership is part of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Suthra Punjab” initiative.

The collaboration aims to modernize waste management processes through digital fee collection and payment enablement. Eight waste management companies from across the province have joined the initiative, which is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and service delivery.

Addressing the ceremony, Punjab Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafiq commended Zindigi for its commitment to supporting the “Suthra Punjab” initiative. He emphasized the importance of digitization in enhancing public services and creating new job opportunities.

Noman Azhar, Chief Officer of Zindigi, highlighted the company’s role in driving Pakistan’s digitization. He expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the “Suthra Punjab” initiative and emphasized Zindigi’s commitment to innovation and collaboration.
