Two Pakistani startups have been selected to participate in Google’s first-ever AI Academy in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The program aims to help startups refine their AI solutions and advance their business growth.

AdalFi and Adlytic AI are among 23 startups from across the APAC region chosen for the program. AdalFi is developing an AI-powered credit scoring system to promote financial inclusion, while Adlytic AI is enhancing retail analytics using AI-powered CCTV cameras.

The AI Academy will provide participating startups with tailored mentorship, Google Cloud credits, and networking opportunities. The program will culminate in a graduation ceremony in December, where startups will showcase their refined AI solutions to investors and industry leaders.

“We’re excited to see these startups harnessing AI’s potential to impact some tough challenges,” says Michael Kim, Head of Google for Startups, APAC. “Through this program, we hope to foster a wave of innovation that will have a ripple effect across the entire Asia-Pacific region.”

The participation of Pakistani startups in Google’s AI Academy is a testament to the growing AI ecosystem in the country. These startups are pushing the boundaries of AI innovation and contributing to the region’s vibrant AI landscape.
