In a fitting end to HBL PSL X, BYD Pakistan | Mega Motor Company (BYD | MMC), the official mobility partner of the tournament, made a bold statement by awarding its all-electric BYD Seal sedan to Hassan Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators, who was named the Player of the Tournament. The closing ceremony, held at Lahore’s historic Gaddafi Stadium, showcased the fusion of cutting-edge technology and Pakistan’s passion for cricket.
Danish Khaliq, Vice President Sales & Strategy at BYD Pakistan | MMC, personally handed over the keys of the BYD Seal to Hassan Nawaz, celebrating his standout performance and reinforcing BYD’s commitment to innovation, performance, and excellence. In addition, BYD presented a cheque of PKR 3.5 million to Abdul Samad of Peshawar Zalmi, who was named Fielder of the Tournament, acknowledging his athletic brilliance throughout the season.
Speaking on the partnership, Danish Khaliq emphasized BYD’s dedication to supporting national talent and being a part of events that bring communities together. As the global leader in New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), BYD is not only introducing futuristic electric vehicles in Pakistan but is also aligning its brand with Pakistan’s biggest cultural moments — like the PSL.
Throughout the season, BYD showcased its full NEV lineup, including the BYD Seal, Atto 3, and Shark 6, at major PSL venues in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, and Multan. This high-voltage presence created a buzz around BYD’s electric innovation and helped engage cricket fans with an immersive automotive experience.
