iPhone 17 to Bring Thinner Bezels and Upgraded Dynamic Island

Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch its iPhone 17 lineup with two big display upgrades that promise a more immersive viewing experience. According to industry sources, the iPhone 17 series will feature significantly slimmer bezels and a refreshed Dynamic Island design — both of which will now extend beyond the Pro models.

Currently, Apple’s thinnest bezels are seen on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. However, for the first time ever, this design aesthetic will be introduced to the base iPhone 17 models, including a rumored new variant dubbed the iPhone 17 Air. This marks a major design shift as Apple brings its high-end display engineering to standard models.

In addition to slimmer bezels, a redesigned Dynamic Island interface is expected across the lineup. While specific changes remain under wraps, the revamped UI is anticipated to be powered by iOS 26 and will remain exclusive to the iPhone 17 series — at least at launch. There’s also speculation that Apple may reduce the size of the Dynamic Island cutout itself, though some sources suggest this may be delayed until the iPhone 18.

With these enhancements, the iPhone 17 looks set to offer a more modern, edge-to-edge feel that could boost visual appeal and usability. As always, Apple hasn’t confirmed any of these details officially, but expectations are high for a fresh new look when the iPhone 17 series arrives — possibly setting a new display standard for iPhones in Pakistan and beyond.
