Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced robust consolidated financial results for the year ending December 31, 2025, reinforcing its position as Pakistan’s leading integrated telecom and ICT services provider. The Group reported 12% year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth, with consolidated annual revenue climbing to PKR 120 billion, driven by strong performance across broadband, enterprise, wholesale, and mobile services.

PTCL’s strong operational execution translated into significant improvements across key financial metrics:
- Consolidated revenue increased by 12% YoY, supported by fixed broadband, enterprise solutions, wholesale, and mobile growth
- Operating profit surged by 216% YoY, highlighting improved efficiencies
- Net loss of PKR 9.7 billion was primarily due to accelerated Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisioning at Ubank following changes in Prudential Regulations
- PTCL standalone operating profit reached PKR 18.2 billion, reflecting 49% YoY growth
- Despite a one-off PKR 6.9 billion pension liability, PTCL posted a net profit of PKR 1.4 billion
Flash Fiber and Business Solutions Drive Core Growth
PTCL’s fixed-line and enterprise segments delivered standout performance in 2025:
- Flash Fiber revenue grew by 50% YoY, maintaining the highest fiber broadband market share at 33%

Ufone also delivered a strong performance during FY 2025:
- Revenue increased by 14% YoY, driven by retail and corporate segments
- Operating profit reached PKR 17.6 billion, posting an impressive 283% YoY growth
- Net losses reduced by 89%, marking a significant turnaround
Ufone’s digital sub-brand Onic crossed 406,000 subscribers, achieving 169% YoY growth through its fully digital operating model.
PTCL Completes Landmark Telenor Pakistan Acquisition
PTCL achieved a major milestone with the successful acquisition of Telenor Pakistan, following all regulatory approvals. The transaction was formally completed on December 31, 2025, with financial consolidation beginning from January 1, 2026.
With Telenor Pakistan and Orion Towers now wholly owned subsidiaries, this transaction represents one of Pakistan’s largest telecom consolidations. PTCL has also initiated plans to amalgamate Telenor Pakistan and Ufone, subject to regulatory approvals, aiming to enhance nationwide coverage, improve efficiencies, and strengthen competitiveness.
