The Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), Imran Amin, has reviewed progress on several flagship development projects in Lahore.
During a visit on August 22, 2026, Imran Amin inspected CBD Walk, The Second Walk, CBD Lake and CBD NSIT City. He reviewed ongoing construction, finishing and infrastructure works and directed the relevant teams to expedite completion.
The CEO was accompanied by Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Engineering Omar Hayat, Director Architecture and Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, Project Manager CBD NSIT City Yasir Saifullah, senior CBD Punjab officials, NESPAK representatives and project contractors.
During his visit to CBD Walk, Imran Amin was briefed on the progress of finishing activities. The project team informed him that floor tiling and travertine installation on the elevations were nearing completion.
The CEO directed the concerned teams to maintain the pace of work and complete all remaining activities within the required timelines. He also instructed the project team to begin asphalt work at the entrance of CBD Walk to improve access and enhance the overall appearance of the development.
Imran Amin also reviewed the development and upgrading works at CBD Lake. He directed the project teams to complete the remaining works immediately and make the facility operational at the earliest.
The CEO subsequently visited CBD NSIT City, which CBD Punjab describes as Pakistan’s first and largest IT city. He reviewed progress on several development components, including the project’s main entrance gate. The project team informed him that the primary structural work on the entrance gate was nearing completion.
CBD NSIT City is positioned as a technology and business hub intended to support innovation, investment and the growth of Pakistan’s information technology sector.
Speaking during the visit, Imran Amin said CBD Punjab was committed to delivering high-quality urban infrastructure that reflected Lahore’s potential as a modern business and technology hub.
“Our focus is not only on completing projects but on ensuring quality, functionality and timely delivery,” he said. “All teams have been directed to accelerate the remaining works and maintain the highest standards of construction and finishing.”
He also directed CBD Punjab departments, consultants and contractors to maintain close coordination and resolve outstanding issues without delay.
The CEO said sustained coordination among all stakeholders would be essential to maintaining development momentum across CBD Punjab’s flagship projects.
The authority continues to advance its portfolio of commercial, technology and public-realm developments as part of efforts to strengthen Lahore’s urban infrastructure and position the city as a modern business centre.
