Pakistan to release 75 Rupee Note on its 75th Independence Day

75 Rupee Notes will be made available to the public in the month of August 2022

On August 14, 2022, Pakistan will mark its 75th independence day. The day is a historic one for all the Pakistanis as their forefathers left India in the search of a separate homeland. Realizing the momentous occasion for the country, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is planning to issue Rs.75 commemorative banknotes.

According to the sources, the design of Rs. 75 banknotes have been approved by the Federal Cabinet. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will be releasing these banknotes after getting them printed on the directions of the Government.

Previously, on 13th August 1997, Pakistan released a commemorative note of Rupees 5 on the 50th anniversary of Pakistan.

During the specific historic events of Pakistan, SBP has always tried to issue commemorative currency notes. The SBP makes efforts to commemorate particular events in Pakistan’s history through the issuance of commemorative currency notes.
