Former International Cricket Umpire from Pakistan, Asad Rauf needs no introduction. He has served and made name for the country throughout the world for his umpiring.

But now, Asad Rauf is doing second-hand business in Lunda Bazaar. He said that people think that he is working in Lunda Bazaar to overcome financial crises. But this is untrue. He instead said that he is selling second-hand yet high-quality products in Lunda Bazaar.

Asad Rauf said that he was wrongfully portrayed on social media.

The former umpire said, “It is not the case that I start selling the things I order. I have my own warehouse, they process and sell everything there.”

He further added, “I have been in this business for 35 years. Imported things are not for everyone here. I have original items of the best brands available in the best quality”.

Asad Rauf said that doing a second-hand business is not something to be ashamed of. But the way it was portrayed on social media was wrong indeed.

Speaking about the controversies in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rauf said that allegations were false, and not yet proven.

The former umpire further said that an Indian girl blamed him on the behest of her stepmother. She sued him but later apologized.

Asad Rauf further said, “I quit umpiring at the age of 57 because my hearing was declining”.
